transsolarRecords started to release records in the spring of `97.
the catalogue includes the debut 7" by sweden’s THE (INTER-
NATIONAL) NOISE CONSPIRACY, the first GOLDEN – album,
a postrock supergroup with members of TRANS AM, MARS
VOLTA, THE MAKE UP and SIX FINGER SATELLITE, and the
whole output of Germany’s MONOCHROME. in 2004 and 2005, we have released full length albums from BOY FROM BRAZIL, TOKYO SEX DESTRUCTION, VIVA L'AMERICAN DEATH RAY MUSIC, KID CONGO & THE PINK MONKEY BIRDS, KID & KHAN, QUINTRON & MISS PUSSYCAT and N.I.S among others.
in every aspect, transsolarRecords is a label for unconventional
attitudes, preferring the unexplored and unique instead of the
reproduced.
the releases do not represent a certain sound but our ethic re-
leasing quality music on it’s own terms. like the label, most of
the bands have their origin in the punk scene while all of them
have their original approach to the exploitation of various genres
to create music and design that matters!
